At LOFT, we like to think outside the box, which is why we have decided to give you a few weird and wacky ways in which to use the Christmas decorations this Christmas.
1. Baubles aren’t just for the Christmas tree
Whether gluing some baubles together to add an interesting new twist to the traditional Christmas wreath, or hanging them from the stairs, baubles can be used in a variety of cool ways.
For a quick and affordable way to add some Christmas sparkle, try filling hollow lamp bases with baubles that match your interior, or simply place some colourful baubles on top of your favourite candlestick holders.
2. Tinsel + glue = DIY Christmas trees
Spruce up the mantle or dining room table with simple DIY tinsel Christmas trees. Buy a selection of cardboard or Styrofoam cones and simply wrap a length of tinsel around them. Try and make a few different sized ones to add variety and depth. You can have fun with the kids on this one too. That’ll keep them out of mischief for a while!
3. Christmas lights
Nothing serves up the Christmas cheer better than a variety of beautiful, well-placed Christmas lights. Rather than just using them on the Christmas tree or jazzing up the bush outside, try wrapping them around the banister or placing them in jars around the house to spread the joy.
For something different this Christmas, pop in to LOFT to view our stunning selection of furniture, fabrics and decorative Christmas items.
